I Get to Do This!!
Sometimes, I still can’t believe it.
I get paid
to make pictures.
To chase light across a curve of concrete.
To wait, patient and still, until a shadow slips over the oval form of a building that shouldn’t be possible—yet somehow stands.
To frame a line, a space, a feeling—
and offer it back like a gift.
That’s the core of it.
I’m not just showing up with gear in the trunk and a checklist in my pocket.
I’m showing up with care.
With curiosity.
With a desire to make something true.
Every project is a chance to create art—
not just documentation, but expression.
Not just “here it is,” but “here is what it means.”
Take The Egg in Albany.
A building that floats above the plaza on an improbable stem.
Curved, sculptural, and defiant of straight lines.
It demands to be seen as more than structure—it wants to be felt.
And that’s the challenge with architectural photography.
Spaces this complex rarely translate easily.
The scale, the intent, the craft—too often, they flatten out in ordinary images.
That’s where I come in.
Because I’ve dedicated myself to making images that feel like the spaces you’ve built.
Images that echo the thought, the detail, the soul of your work.
This isn’t just about pretty pictures.
It’s about giving your marketing team the tools to show the world not only what you designed, but why it matters.
And the fact that I get to do that?
That people trust me with places like this?
It fills me with joy.
Because at the heart of it—
under the proposals and process—
is this simple truth:
I want to make beautiful things for good people.
And I am so, so grateful I get to do that.
Do you want me to create some art for you?
Let’s talk. I’d be honored.
